THE STUDIO

Tucked away in Vincent’s Yard, a vibrant creative courtyard in Stockwell, our studio inhabits a former print room surrounded by makers, designers, and small independent businesses. It’s a space alive with curiosity, collaboration, and the joy of making, where every corner tells a story of hands at work and ideas taking shape. Perfectly positioned in the heart of London’s dynamic food scene, we are just moments from Borough Market, London Bridge, and Soho, placing us at the pulse of culinary innovation. Being close to some of the city’s most celebrated chefs means we get to see our plates and bowls in action, bringing dishes to life at Bubala, Ottolenghi, OMA, Angelina, Bacchanalia, Rosewood Hotels, and many more. We are also fortunate to be near one of the Great British Chefs offices, a community that connects craft, food, and creativity in ways that inspire every piece we make. It’s an incredible network, and we are so grateful to be part of it.

This is not just a showroom or a quiet atelier, although you are always welcome to pop by, say hello, and shop. It is a working studio where pieces are made every day, where hands get dusty, mistakes are learned from, and successes are celebrated. Every shelf holds a chapter of the process, from first tests to finished collections, telling the story of how ideas evolve through patience, care, and practice. Visitors often say it feels honest, warm, and alive. That is exactly how we like it. During our open days, the doors open wider, inviting you to experience the rhythm of the studio, explore the full collection, and see the work in progress as it happens.

This is where Sofia Ceramics comes to life, from our kiln to your table, a place where tradition meets experimentation, and everyday objects are shaped with intention, care, and respect for the handmade. Visitors often comment that our studio feels like a living story, honest, warm, and full of energy. That is exactly how we like it. Here, each piece is not only made but nurtured, shaped by hands, guided by thought, and finished with love.
